Yamaguchi Psychological Consultation Room provides counseling for foreigners who can speak English.
The counselor will try to communicate in English.
If you cannot find any person to consult with about your psychological difficulties in your neighborhood, why not drop in at this room?
This room provides counseling based on Freud's classical psychoanalytic theory.
The problems that can be treated here are some neurotic symptoms like anxieties, phobias, etc., and also those who want to feel freer internally,know themselves much more,sense thier own real feeling,etc. are welcome. |

Psychology classes will be given,either man-to-man or in the form of a small class to any people of any age. Those who want to learn psychoanalysis, psychological tests, etc. to prepare for entrance examinations for graduate schools in Japan, the examination for certification for clinical psychologist etc.are also welcome. |

The counselor is certified by the Foundation of the Japanese Certification Board for Clinical Psychologists.
- Counseling
50 minutes
----- 4,000 yen
----- 3,000 yen for students and for those under 20.
30 minutes
----- 1,800 yen = Alternative only for those under 20:Which to take, 50 or 30 minutes, will be decided,the client's condition and requests taken into consideration.
- Psychological test (Rorschach Test) ----- 12,000 yen.
(including the explanation of the result around a week later)
- Psychology Class
In the case of man-to-man teaching ----- 3,000 yen per 50minutes.
In the case of a small class ----- 2,500 yen per 50 minutes per head.

Appointments should be arranged in advance by telephone or by e-mail.
Reception of telephone is possible between 9:00 and 23:00.
If the counselor is absent,leave your message in the phone including your telephone number,the hour convenient for being called back,and any requests about the way to be called back e.g., "Do not leave messages to any other person than me."
The counselor will call you back in the way requested, as soon as possible within 5days.
